Manga addiction level up!

If there is such a thing as manga addiction, I probabaly would have levelled up looking at today’s performance… Though, I am probably still quite low level.

If today is any other day, I would probably exclaim that I have outdone myself. However, there is this one small little problem. Out of the 23 books in the picture above, 19 of them costed 1 dollar for each book. Singapore currency, mind you.

I just started reading Air Gear a few days ago and it took me 2 days to read to the latest chapter which I think is 221. It should have just taken me one day but due to my work, I had to spread it out to two days. T_T

Anyway how did I get such a deal? Well… I didn’t know about the sale until Rdrake called me last night er… this morning, around 1am. He said that Nandemoya was having a clearance sale (Last day today) and he had gotten his hands on the full set of Nagasarete Airantou. (I think two times cheaper than what I got mine for T_T) So I headed down today and got whatever Air Gear manga they had. They did not have book 4 and 5 though, so I only got 1-3, 6-21.

I headed down to Kinokuniya later anyway

I picked up Vampire Knight again. Although I told myself I would quit it, after hearing some spoilers, YEAH SPOILER ALERT That Yuki was also a vampire or something along those lines I decided to buy the manga and check it out myself. I didn’t bother watching the anime though, since the first episode so strikingly resembles the manga, I gave up. Anyway too many girls watch it, 3D girls obviously, and I hate it when they come and ask me whether I watch Vampire Knight.

I currently have… If I counted correctly, 118 manga unread. Chinese ones, I have not counted my light novels (Japanese and Chinese) and my Japanese manga in. I’m in heaven~

I explained to Rdrake when I met him at Kinokuniya earlier. Everytime I open my cupboard and see all these unread manga greeting me, it feels like heaven. It really makes my day to have manga. Then I close the doors and open them to have that feeling again. I don’t know about other people, some might feel that I am a very sad person by doing this but I guess it really depends on the person’s tastes and preferences. Just like if someone says “I like Futanari and Guro” I cannot say, thats sick, GTFO. Its really up to the person.

By the way these 12 manga hidden behind ToraDora are also not read yet

I guess I will have to do a similar post at Rdrake’s blog (If he has not deleted me as a contributor) since I owe him for telling me about the clearance sale and he has been bugging asking me to post on his blog, even if its a double post. I hate double posts so I think I shall post the same pictures but change the content.

Next week I have my JLPT 4, so I probably won’t have much to write about. Though I have not studied for it and Irake was busy studying yesterday ^_^ and oh shi- I have to look for my test voucher and map for the location.
